Xebia Appoints New Global CEO

Xebia’s current CEO, Anand Sahay, has been promoted to a global position to drive the growth of the leading Dutch IT consultancy, now headquartered in the US, with 19 offices worldwide, including Dubai.

Sahay joined Xebia in 2014 as CEO to take the company beyond the Netherlands and co-founded Xebia Global Services. He was responsible for extending Xebia’s business into the Middle East and Africa, the US, UK, APAC and ANZ regions.

As a leading entrepreneur, Sahay combines the latest technology with unique service offerings to create innovative service-line products to tap into potential markets and, by collaborating with business leaders, solves critical problems. He has had exposure to a diverse range of organisations, functional groups and work cultures.

Under Sahay’s stewardship, Xebia developed software engineering prowess to cater to the growing demands of global customers for quality software technology. Building on the architecture, engineering and software craftsmanship learned over the years in the Netherlands, he has brought a unique and refreshing blend of quality and scale. Sahay has made Xebia distinctive in the world and helped it stand out from the other software firms globally.

As an electronics engineer, Sahay started his career as a software programmer at TCS. He later completed his MBA and undertook various leadership roles. An avid reader and philanthropist, Sahay is committed to giving back to society and enabling people and the environment. Anand is actively involved with The Nudge Foundation, an association that alleviates poverty sustainably, collaboratively and by scalability. It has three impact streams to tackle the complex issue of poverty, including the Centre for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (CSDE), the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) and the Centre for Rural Development (CRD).
