In observance of World Hypertension Day, Thumbay Hospital Fujairah hosted a comprehensive awareness event to educate the public and corporate sector on the importance of blood pressure management and heart health, May 2025, the initiative aligned with the hospital’s mission to promote preventive healthcare and wellness in the community.

The event featured insightful health awareness talks by senior medical experts, including:
Dr. Abdul Rahuman Aboobaker, Consultant – Cardiology, who spoke about early detection and lifestyle changes to manage hypertension.,Dr. C. R. Sathyanarayanan, Specialist – Internal Medicine, HOD & Medical Director, who elaborated on the “Silent Killer” nature of hypertension and the critical need for long-term treatment compliance., Dr. Manish Singhal, Chief Operating Officer, who emphasized the hospital’s ongoing commitment to preventive health programs and introduced new wellness initiatives for the corporate sector.

Over 50 participants representing various corporate entities—including HSE managers, corporate nurses, safety officers, HR, and administration professionals—attended the session. The attendees were presented with participation certificates and complimentary wellness gifts as a gesture of appreciation.
