New Winter Menu at Sagar Ratna

Bringing the delectable pure vegetarian taste of Marwari and Rajasthani cuisine, Sagar Ratna is now decked up to serve the winter delicacies. Sagar Ratna is serving Rajasthan’s famous and most enjoyed Kachi Haldi ki Sabzi a.k.a raw turmeric vegetable. It is one of the most savoured winter dishes made of fresh turmeric, yogurt curry and mildly flavoured with spices. Priced at just AED 35, it makes every mouthful of this curry worth it.

Dhoodh Jalebi

The next thing on the menu is one of the desserts that is not only eaten in the Marwari cuisine but is relished throughout the country. If there was a national dessert, this would be a carrot-based pudding or famously known as Gajar ka Halwa priced at AED 18. Prepared with seasonal carrots, this dish manages to make everyone nostalgic and takes them down memory lane as they relive the cold and crusty winters of India.

With the onset of winters, many in India have this dish for breakfast as well. It is known to have many health benefits, according to the elders. We definitely can’t vouch for that, but we can guarantee jalebi’s sweet and crunchy taste mellowed down with hot saffron infused milk. Doodh Jalebi (saffron flavoured milk and sugary pastry) is the most desirable food in winters and attracts many foodies all around the year. It is a bowl of warmth and comfort priced just at AED 18.
