About Uday Rathod, Founder Znap

Holding a Masters from Deakin University, Melbourne, Uday is a suave business owner with a keen interest in tech. Prior to setting up Znap, Uday was heavily invested in various family businesses which include operations in Manufacturing, Natural Resources Trading, IT services and investing in Start-ups.

 

Hailing from a business family, Uday had the entrepreneurial spark embedded in him from a very young age. At Znap his role is pretty diverse. Apart from the standard C-level role, he is heavily invested in helping the team and making it easy by solving all their problems just as one would do for their customers to function and work as a single unit. With Znap, Uday’s goal is to enhance the quality of a consumers' everyday life, whilst helping small businesses be more accessible to consumers with meaningful commerce.

 

What is Znap?

A fintech platform born in the UAE providing Consumer Retention Mechanism along with smart payments to local businesses and helping customers stack up rewards via a simple secure user friendly app - Znap. Znap aims at helping Local businesses nourish Consumers for a longer term and eventually transform them into Loyal Buyers by enabling the consumers with features such as Znapay (Option of Cash Back Or Discount) and Credits Vouchers (Self Use & Egift) to help local businesses be discoverable to the modern digital consumers. We don’t just facilitate payments but also link up Cashback on every transaction that can be used back in the next transaction. We currently have over 300++ partnered merchant portfolios across F&B, Health and Beauty, Fashion and many more categories to choose from. 

 

How is it different from competition?
Our fundamentals are built on sustainability for the economic ecosystem. We heavily focus on the merchant needs along with a seamless experience for the consumers. Znap looks at the cashback model differently. Unlike conventional models. Our aim is to make the customer experience as frictionless as possible with our Cashback system that works for each merchant individually. Consumers stack up Cashback from each merchant that is ONLY used back at the SAME merchant on the next visit, giving a sense of trust and confidence between the merchant and the consumer. 

 

Cashback earned from spends at Merchant A cannot be used at any other merchant but ONLY back at Merchant A again driving consumer retention and eventually consumer loyalty. Consumers benefit from the transaction by receiving Cashback and merchants are content that the rewards given by them to the consumers will come back to the same merchant again, thus “sustainable”.
